Pima County Development Services

Durazo Construction recently completed a full remodel of Pima County’s Development Services Offices.  The previous design, much in need of an update, consisted of disjointed spaces and closed-off individual offices. The remodel has brought forth a modern aesthetic driven by sleek lines, open spaces, bursts of color, and contemporary finishes.  Perhaps the most striking aspect of the design is the juxtaposition of bright, modern, “cloud” ceilings over the industrial aesthetic of exposed ductwork and electrical conduit.  The openness of the design continues throughout the project with glass-walled conference rooms and clerestories, bringing natural light from the fully glazed south wall throughout the entire space.
